On Saturday, Daniel worked on his Space merit badge. He has always loved building rockets and setting them off. Here is one of the launches on Saturday. To complete the badge, the troop had a NASA astronaut come to the meeting on Monday and give a presentation for the boys and their families. It was very cool!

very cool. My nephew is finishing his last 3 badges and working on his project for Eagle Scout. His goal is to be Eagle by the end of the year.
Can't believe I didn't see this until now. Very cool. My cousin used to do this kind of thing all the time. Now he's graduating from the U of IL engineering school & working in the aerospace industry. :D
