So here is the gang! They got to go to the Rays first ever, American League Championship game. It was against the Boston Red Sox. Unfortunately, the Rays lost 2-0 in this first game, but we are not giving up yet!!
I gave Sarah my camera and told her to take photos. She was down at the field visiting Grandpa's friend, Larry and she turned around and looked up. Our seats are above that second A in Tropicana...three rows up. We are right above the press box and we are right behind home plate. We love these seats.
David Archuletta, from American Idol fame, was there in the 7th inning to sing God Bless America. Sarah was so excited that she actually saw someone famous singing in person. He was sort of far away, so she took the photo of the Jumbotron. I think it was a good compromise and a good photo.

good photo of archie! so cool that your family got to attend! we attended a stanley cup play off game w/ my kids a few years ago - they still talk about it !
Looks like they had a good night at the game ... sorry your team didn't win ... but of course you know I'm a Sox fan. Two really great teams playing together ... awesome!
